I’m a man of resolutions, the few I make each year,
Promises I proclaim,
Intentions very clear.
I’ll start to enjoy my life, I’ll get more sleep,
I’ll even lose some weight,
These promises I’ll keep.
These New Year’s professions, hopes said to the wind,
Then comes January second,
And the resolutions end.
